SHAKIRA LAUNCHES NEW ALBUM WITH AN INTIMATE PERFORMANCE

Shakira and her team at Jay Z’s Roc Nation selected The Temple House to launch her new and highly anticipated album "El Dorado" for an exclusive ultra-VIP audience. For close to three hours, a small group of celebrities, industry titans, friends, family and media were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime private and super intimate concert by Shakira.  

After feasting on Colombian delicacies from Thierry’s Catering, Shakira took the stage and opened her performance with an acoustic version of "Chantaje".   After chatting with guests about the new album,  Latin Grammy-nominated Prince Royce joined Shakira on the stage to sing the gorgeous duet Déjà vu" (Royce’s 15th number one song on the Tropical Songs Airplay chart) that dazzled the audience.  And, as if that wasn’t enough, there was still yet another surprise when the singer and music superstar, and Latin Grammy winner Nicky Jam joined Shakira for another duet ("Perro Fiel").  Shakira ended the set with a fabulous rendition of the song "Me Enamore".

Shakira and her design and event team utilized the dramatic 360-degree projection mapping system at The Temple House, which was used as a backdrop for the event and featured stunning visuals provided by United Projection.  Guests walked into dazzling golden rays to set the vibe (honoring the title of the album, which means gold), and each song had it's own accompanying visuals.  

After having Shakira at The Temple House, we can tell you without doubt that Shakira sounds as good live and in person as she does on her albums. We can also assure you that she is as awesome, gorgeous, humble and sweet in person as you might think she would be!!!
