MOROCCAN BERBERISCA AT THE TEMPLE HOUSE

IMG_9969THE TEMPLE HOUSE_.jpg

This stunning Jewish Moroccan ceremony transported guests to Morocco with a fully immersive environment, with both projection mapping and gorgeous Moroccan furniture, décor and catering.

Inspired by the Northern Morocco city of Chefchaouen, which is known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town, the projection mapping surrounded guests with cityscapes, and Moroccan tiles.

The tents surrounding the room made it feel like a traditional Moroccan market, mixed in with beautiful Moroccan décor, furniture and lanterns.

During the traditional ceremony, the bride was taken to the outside terrace, and live footage was projected onto the walls for the groom to only see bits and pieces until she came back down dressed in her magnificent gown.

La Noche de Novia, also referred to as a Berberisca, , is a traditional Moroccan Jewish ceremony that takes place during the week that precedes a wedding.

The bride makes her entrance, magnificently made up and dressed in the Berberisca gown called ‘Traje de paños’, “Vestido de Berberisca” (Spanish), or “Keswa Elkibra” (Great Dress in Arabic).

The evening (Noche) honors the bride to be, who wears an intricately designed gown passed down through generations, as the couple is surrounded by family members who sing and offer blessings in celebration of the marriage.

The family of the groom and bride, accompanied by close friends, gather to sing and to praise the bride. The tradition is 2,000 years old.

The Temple House was delighted to host a full sensory Gala dinner for the 2017 Major League Baseball Allstars Game in Miami.

The United Projection Team worked with in-house stadium photographers for 6 iconic stadiums around the country, to design custom 360 content to wrap the grand room in a fully immersive way to bring people inside each stadium.

The stadiums projected were: Fenway Park Boston – BOSTON REDSOX, The Busch St. Louis Stadium – THE CARDINALS,  The LA Dodger Stadium – THE DODGERS, AT&T Park San Francisco – THE GIANTS, Oriole Park at Camden Yards Baltimore – THE ORIOLES, and The Yankee Stadium New York – THE YANKEES, and the Marlin's Park - The MIAMI MARLINS.

In between each stadium guests took a “plane ride” and landed in the next city.

A  Green ‘turf’ was laid out under dining tables to make the immersive experience even more incredible.

The evening also included footage from the incredible World Series MLB Game of ’97, along with a panel discussion of some MLB athletes, including:

Mike Lowell

Pudge Rodriguez

Edgar Renteria

Jeff Conine

Cliff Floyd

Ethan's Empire - A Mitzvah Suited for a King

When a client of The Temple House said they wanted to have a King of The Empire themed Bar Mitzvah, The Temple House events team knew exactly how to create an event designed exclusively for royalty.  The custom décor  and every fabulous detail was dedicated to the man-of-the-hour and his royal “coming of age”.   With an enormous golden globe (because he ruled the world for the night), crowns taller than life, regal furniture and life size horses with crystal beaded chandeliers, the Bar Mitzvah king sat in his own custom throne commanding one of the biggest nights of his life.   Of course, the dazzling 360-degree projection mapping elevated the noble ambiance to a whole new level.  There was non-stop themed enjoyment all night, that kept the party going until the very end. The royal feast was provided Thierry's Catering.

Shakira and her team at Jay Z’s Roc Nation selected The Temple House to launch her new and highly anticipated album "El Dorado" for an exclusive ultra-VIP audience. For close to three hours, a small group of celebrities, industry titans, friends, family and media were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime private and super intimate concert by Shakira.

After feasting on Colombian delicacies from Thierry’s Catering, Shakira took the stage and opened her performance with an acoustic version of "Chantaje".   After chatting with guests about the new album,  Latin Grammy-nominated Prince Royce joined Shakira on the stage to sing the gorgeous duet Déjà vu" (Royce’s 15th number one song on the Tropical Songs Airplay chart) that dazzled the audience.  And, as if that wasn’t enough, there was still yet another surprise when the singer and music superstar, and Latin Grammy winner Nicky Jam joined Shakira for another duet ("Perro Fiel").  Shakira ended the set with a fabulous rendition of the song "Me Enamore".

Shakira and her design and event team utilized the dramatic 360-degree projection mapping system at The Temple House, which was used as a backdrop for the event and featured stunning visuals provided by United Projection.  Guests walked into dazzling golden rays to set the vibe (honoring the title of the album, which means gold), and each song had it's own accompanying visuals.

After having Shakira at The Temple House, we can tell you without doubt that Shakira sounds as good live and in person as she does on her albums. We can also assure you that she is as awesome, gorgeous, humble and sweet in person as you might think she would be!!!
